Networking event with the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce
The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce held a networking event at Homesteads For Hope in Spencerport. There were about fifty people in attendance at this indoor/outdoor event. The sun was shining and it wasn’t too hot. A perfect day to get together with other business people. Most people were dressed in casual wear while I was in my Spencerport Media t-shirt. I sat at a table with three other people for a while and we talked about our jobs. At one point, the owner of Homesteads for Hope talked to the crowd and gave an overview of the farm. I walked around some more mingling with the crowd and I talked to an employee of Homesteads For Hope who I knew from Spencerport. Overall, a nice time at this social.
