The Main Street bridge in Brockport reopens

Perhaps you may want to have a dinner and go to a movie in Brockport. Now you can do that without worrying about avoiding the closed bridge. Since May of 2023 the main bridge in Brockport was closed but reopened in November of 2025. So now if you want to go to Custom House or Barber’s Grill and Tap Room and then to the Strand Theater, you can get there by crossing the main street bridge. Downtown Brockport is much more active now with the bridge open and you will see more people going in and out of LiftBridge Book Store or Bittersweet or Country Treasures. Head on out to Brockport and let the business owners know that you support them after having to deal with a closed bridge for more than two years.
