Thirteen businesses closed in Spencerport in 2024

There were sixteen new businesses that started in Spencerport in 2024, which is excellent, but there were also thirteen businesses that shut down this year. On Ridge Road, there were five businesses that shut down: Sullivans, Brewskis, Women’s Fitness Connection, Studio B, and Riccardi Italian Deli. Parma Place Plaza is with two less businesses with WFC and Studio B gone. Riccardi Italian Deli announced that they were closing on December 26th after three years of being open. There were some businesses in the village that closed too: Yaeger Treviso Accountants, Xtreme Discount Goods, Hollywood Decorative Creations, and HD Digital Advertising. Yaeger Treviso Accountants still have an office in Webster. Hollywood Decorative Creations still sells candy at fairs. Another accounting firm that changed is Jeffers and Birnie on Union Street. They are now just Birnie Accounting. Also on Union Street at the bottom of the hill, Fetch and Hollink closed down. On the outskirts of town, Ogden Dental closed down as well. Some of these businesses that closed down have been in Spencerport for decades and others were only up and running a few years or even just a year. Spencerport had a steady number of businesses that opened and closed in 2024 which does make for an active business community.
